The client ran parallel HR systems for payroll and attendance with manual reconciliation. PF/ESI/TDS compliance filings were often late. No real employee self-service meant HR operations absorbed 2 FTEs just handling leave/payslip queries. Performance review cycles were in Excel and stretched 6+ weeks. The CHRO had no real-time workforce analytics.
